Vinod, a coordinator of F.I.T.E. Mumbai Chapter, met a retired judge and explained the scenario of TCS retrenchment process. The judge agreed to be part of the panel to explain the truth behind TCS’s restructuring activity and also elaborate how IT employees are getting affected by IT companies getting exemption from the Labour laws. The panel would constitute of retired IAS officers, leading lawyers, and journalists as well from all over India. They would analyze the current issues with IT companies handling their employees, and also would recommend solution for the same.
In the call with a leading lawyer of Mumbai High Court, Vinod discussed TCS sacking employees issue, and elaborated FITE’s initiatives and progress. He also discussed on the possibilities to initiate legal proceedings against TCS’s unethical activity. The lawyer, who is also a Labour rights and Human Rights activist, encouraged to proceed with filing a case against the injustice happening and also said that we could succeed if we work together as we do now. The lawyer will explain more on the legal proceedings when the FITE members and affected TCS employees meet on Monday (12-Jan-2015).

Please don’t giveup…. fight… i have faced a similar issues but in other company. We can’t be a mute spectator to the HR;s and management’s dance. They should take the rational decision… layoff is the easiest option as of now… just ask employee to resign… and done.
